Description:
  • The two masks to the left in the main pics are wood, and appear hand carved and painted. Their origin may be Sri Lanka. The side pieces can be removed on the wider mask, it is 9” tall and 12” wide, smaller is 6.5” tall and 4.5” wide. The other mask is made of Paper Mache, and may be Japanese. It is 9.75” long and 7.25” wide. The display shows different makeup styles in Chinese Opera, with labels in Chinese and English. A couple of the masks have some paint missing. It is 8.75” wide and just under 16” tall.
