Description:

  • This is believed to be a WWII era Japanese Naval Offer’s Sword. The handle is wood, and has probably been replaced. The sheath is metal. No markings found at all on the sword or sheath. It does have some unique lines at the bottom of the handle, where the blade attaches, see pics. Good condition. The blade has an edge, but not sharp. Overall the sword is about 37”. The blade section is 26.75”, the edge is 25.5”, and the sheath is 28.25”.
