Both books are in German. The lighter colored book is inscribed and signed inside, appears to be by the author, Wilhelm Oncken. It also appears to be numbered and dated 1896. It commemorates 100 years since the birth of Kaiser Wilhelm I in 1797. There is some light staining on the cover that may clean off, otherwise in good condition with all pages firmly attached. The black book is about the first decade of Kaiser Wilhelm II’s rule from 1888 to 1898, written by George Burenstein. It has a couple of pages near the front that are separating, otherwise it is in good condition. The picture is dated 1903, and marked Berlin. It is in a wood frame with wavy, antique glass over the front. Outside the frame is about 20” x 25”.
