These appear to be Drawings of Defense Forts. One poster has the forts around Nashville, TN and the other has the forts around Memphis. Each of the individual forts has info at bottom, stating that they accompany the inspection report by Brig. General Z.B. Tower, with dates from May, 1865. Each is wrapped in plastic with cardboard backing, and are about 28.5” x 18”. The outside of the matting is 33.5” x 24.75”
