• Believed to be a Rolling Block No. 5, 7mm version of the Remington Rolling Block Rifle, possibly used by England and South America in the early 1900’s. This rifle shows a lot of use and wear, and has initials and codes on the stock. The only markings found are the Remington name on the tang, and a patent date of 1901. It is also stamped 7mm on the barrel. No Serial Number found, may be worn away. All of the steel is well worn. The rolling block action is all intact and appears to be in good condition. Wood stock and foregrip, with a wooden cover over the front top of the barrel. The barrel is 30”, overall it is 45.5”. The bayonet is also marked Remington, and fits well on the gun, and includes the sheath. It is just over 12.5” long and the blade is just over 8”.  This is a firearm, subject to state and federal regulations. All firearm purchases must be picked up at Woodland Firearms, a Federal Firearms Dealer located in Woodland, Ca. They will oversee the required transfer, background check, and 10 day waiting period required by law. They have this firearm and it is available for viewing, by appointment during their normal business hours, which are Daily 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. except closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. In addition to the purchase price of the firearm, the buyer will be required to pay directly to Woodland Firearms a Background Check fee of $37.19, and a Long Gun fee of $83.00 There will also be a 10-day waiting period starting when the background check paperwork is complete, until the buyer can take possession of the firearm. There are also several other rules to be aware of prior to bidding, including:

• The firearm buyer must pass a safety test to obtain a Firearm Safety Certificate, or hold a valid California Hunting License. (Unless they are Active-Duty Military, Peace Officer, etc.). Woodland Firearms can administer this test, and issue the Firearm Safety Certificate for a fee of $25.00.

• In most cases you need a Real ID to purchase a firearm. A Driver’s License is usually not sufficient, unless you also have a certified copy of your Birth Certificate. A current passport will also work.
