Description:
  • A complete, original WWII Japanese Arisaka rifle with bayonet. Believed to be a type 99 made between 1940 and 1945. Both the rifle and bayonet have the same maker’s stamp. Bolt action, believed to shoot 7.7 x 58mm ammo. Serial number 74691. The bayonet blade is 15”, overall it is about 20”. The rifle has a one-piece wood stock, with wood over the barrel. The barrel is 26”. Overall the rifle is 44” long, 59” with the bayonet. PLEASE DON'T BID UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING:

 This is a firearm, subject to state and federal regulations. All firearm purchases must be picked up at Woodland Firearms, a Federal Firearms Dealer located in Woodland, Ca. They will oversee the required transfer, background check, and 10 day waiting period required by law. Woodland Firearms, operates from their new location at 1122 Pendegast St. in Woodland, Ca, by appointment. It is easy to make an appointment on their website, and they will contact you to confirm. They have this firearm and it is available for viewing, by appointment during their normal business hours, which are Daily 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. except closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. The DROS Process must be started within 30 days of the close of the auction, or the gun will be resold

 

In addition to the purchase price of the firearm, the buyer will be required to pay directly to Woodland Firearms a Background Check fee of $37.19, and a Long Gun fee of $83.00 There will also be a 10-day waiting period starting when the background check paperwork is complete, until the buyer can take possession of the firearm. There are also several other rules to be aware of prior to bidding, including:

  • The firearm buyer must pass a safety test to obtain a Firearm Safety Certificate, or hold a valid California Hunting License. (Unless they are Active-Duty Military, Peace Officer, etc.). Woodland Firearms can administer this test, and issue the Firearm Safety Certificate for a fee of $25.00.

  • In most cases you need a Real ID to purchase a firearm. A Driver’s License is usually not sufficient, unless you also have a certified copy of your Birth Certificate. A current passport will also work.
