Owner tells us this has been in her family since the 1940's, and was purchased in Brazil. It was brought to the US in 2001. All carved wood and very well made of Brazilian Walnut (Imbuia). The headboard is 53" high at the center, and 57" wide. The footboard is 27.5" high. Note due to age there is some wood shrinkage in the center of the headboard. Each nightstand is 22" high, 18" wide and 15" deep, with a mirror sitting on top. The bed accommodates a mattress that is up to 54" wide and 75" long. Does not include the mattress. Each of the mirrors on top of the nightstands needs to be replaced or discarded. Otherwise, they are in very good condition with only very minor marks from age and use. Owner tells us the style is called Brazilian Renaissance, and probably dates to the 1940’s. Matches the style of the dresser in Lot 48, and the Vanity in Lot 49.
