Owner tells us this has been in her family since the 1940's, and was purchased in Brazil. It was brought to the US in 2001. All carved wood and very well made of Brazilian Walnut (Imbuia). The top of the mirror is 73" high. The surface is 54.25" wide, and 18.75" deep. Beveled glass in mirror. The lower section has 2 drawers on each side. The mirror on the surface shows wear, but could be removed. The bench seat is 17.5" high, the top of each side is about 27" high. The seat needs to be re-upholstered and needs new cushion. There are also a couple of loose pieces on the vanity that could be easily tightened. Otherwise it is a beautiful piece in very good condition with lots of detailed carvings. Owner tells us the style is called Brazilian Renaissance, and probably dates to the 1940’s. The style matches the bed in Lot 46, and the dresser in Lot 48.
