A rare antique piano lamp. Maker info not found, may be by Bradley and Hubbard. Originally an oil burning lamp, and converted to electric with a single bulb in the top, otherwise all original and in good condition. Has a stamped patent date of 1862. All metal body, with lots of fine details, and glass shade. Has a pole down the center, and may have originally raised up, but could not get it to stay up. One small section of the black metal has been repaired – see pics. A beautiful lamp in very good condition. The top of the chimney is 65” high in its lowest position, the top of the shade is 62” high. The shade is about 10” wide.
