Both are hand painted on wood panels, to resemble hanging rugs. Both are extremely detailed, and hand painted by Christopher Hansen, the late son of the sellers, and a very accomplished artist and illustrator. He passed away in 2003, and his impressive work can be seen throughout this home. Both have an actual fringe on each end, and they appear to be rugs until you actually touch them. The larger is 57” x 31.5”, smaller is 47” x 29.5”.
