The son of the seller tells us this was his train set as a child, and believes it was purchased during the Korean War, in about 1953. The track is mounted to the large wood piece, with wood edges. The set is complete with the powered locomotive, coal car, 4 freight cars and a caboose. We got the locomotive to run partially around the track, but the track has some corrosion and at least needs some of the steel connectors. Seller tells us it was moved to this spot when they moved in this house in 1972 and has not been used since, so it needs lube, TLC, etc. It may need new track to be a smooth-running set. Includes the tower, and everything pictured. The main wood piece is sturdy, buyer will need help carrying it down several flights of stairs and loading. See pics for numbers of each car. The main base is 49” x 91” on the outside
