Description:

  • Both are original documents. The smaller appears to be a signed Assessment of a Tax in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, dated April 1, 1820. It is 18” x 25” on the outside. The document itself is 14.5” x 18”. The larger is a Membership in the secret Montezuma Society, dated September 14, 1859. it is 24” x 19” on the outside. The document itself is 19” x 15”.
