Original oil painting by noted artist Johan Meijer, born in Amsterdam in 1885. The original frame measures 29" x 22". Framed in a gallery type frame with lighting above. The painting could use a professional cleaning, but is in good condition. See the provenance stating "Tentoonstelling kunst van heden rijksmuseum 1939", which translates in English to "Exhibition art of the present Rijksmuseum 1939", Evidently, this painting was exhibited at the Rijksmuseum in 1939, a national museum in Amsterdam known to display the works of Masters like Rembrandt, Frans Hals, and Johannes Vermeer.
The canvas is 15.5" x 20".
