Description:

Purchased new by the current, elderly owner. Has 52,670 original miles. Runs and drives well. Hybrid, with 1.5 L Gas motor and an electric motor. Everything seems to work, including the A/C, all gauges and monitors. Brakes, steering, front-end, etc. are all in good condition. Has the keyless ignition, and includes 1 key fob. This is the earlier Prius, the fob needs to be inserted in the slot in the dash for it to run.
The VIN Number for Carfax is JTDKB22U940082332. The following issues were found:
The start battery was completely dead when we got there, and the car had been sitting for a little less than a year. It was stored under a carport. We put a trickle charge on it for a day and it came back to life. The big battery is probably original, no sign that it has been replaced. The batteries appear to hold a charge, and are currently working.
The tires all have checks from age. They are not bad on the sidewalls, but checks can be seen on some tread. They could be the original tires, and need to be replaced. They all hold air for now. The current tires are Good Year Integrity, P185/65R 15’s
Has some dings and scrapes, but no sign that any major bodywork has been done. The back section has several dings and scrapes along the lower bumper area. The biggest dent is high on the driver’s side quarter panel, just in front of the taillight. There is a ding in the driver’s front fender, and several nicks on front of the hood from rocks. There is a small dent in the rocker panel below the passenger front door, and scrapes down the rear passenger door. The 2 hubcaps on the passenger side have scrapes
The interior could use a deep cleaning, and is generally in good condition
The registration expired in June, 2017, and we don’t believe it was renewed. The fees from June 2017 to June 2018 are due to DMV, as well as June 2018 to June 2019. The original title has not been found, but buyer will be provided with an Application for Duplicate Title and Vehicle Transfer, signed by the Public Guardian of Sutter County. There is a court order to sell this vehicle, which will be provided, as well as a copy of the document naming the Public Guardian as the conservator of the estate, which will be sufficient to transfer title to the buyer
No Sales Tax to us, it will be paid to the DMV. Full payment must be paid in full with cash, certified funds, or online with credit card by 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10^th
