Description:

Seller tells us this set was purchased in Germany in the 1960’s. Well made, vintage construction with a spiral wood design in the main top. The oval top and pedestal separate in the middle to add leaves. Seller tells us the table was originally purchased without leaves, and the leaves were made by a local cabinet shop. The 2 leaves do not have the same quality finish the rest of the table has, but they fit well
The surface is 29.5” high and 42” deep. Without any leaves it is 52” long. Each leaf adds 20” of length, so with both in it is 92” long. Each of the 6 Beidermeier chairs is 36” high, and the seats are about 18.5”
Has been in a large living room, and seldom used. The felt-like covering on the chair seats shows very light fading, but is in good usable condition. A beautiful, well-made set in very good condition, especially for age
