Description:
  • Rare disc music box, only made for about 30 years until around 1910. Originally was hand cranked, this one has been converted to electric power. The turntable does not spin, a humming sound can be heard when powered. The rest of the music box is all intact
  • The only marking found on the main player is the Symphonion mark under where the disc is played
  • Each of the 9 discs are also marked Symphonion
  • The case is craftsman made with burl wood in the sides and front, inlaid wood designs in the top and a photo behind glass inside the cover
  • A beautiful and rare piece, may be usable with minor repair
