Description:

Rare disc music box, only made for about 30 years until around 1910. Originally was hand cranked, this one has been converted to electric power. The turntable does not spin, a humming sound can be heard when powered. The rest of the music box is all intact
The only marking found on the main player is the Symphonion mark under where the disc is played
Each of the 9 discs are also marked Symphonion
The case is craftsman made with burl wood in the sides and front, inlaid wood designs in the top and a photo behind glass inside the cover
A beautiful and rare piece, may be usable with minor repair
