The hat could not be authenticated, so it is likely a reproduction. It is believed that the pins are authentic. All are for the German Navy during WW II.

This hat was taken to The Tin Soldier, at 222 Vernon Street in Downtown Roseville, for authentication. The Tin Soldier has been in the war memorabilia business for 33 years and is well qualified to authenticate items like this. The identification and description are Ken’s, from The Tin Soldier opinion, which we believe is correct.
