These hats have the Rising Sun Badges, both with the style that was only used in 1949. (Note - these hats are being relisted because they were incorrectly identified in the prior auction.) Styrofoam head is not included.

These were taken to The Tin Soldier, at 222 Vernon Street in Downtown Roseville, for authentication. The Tin Soldier has been in the war memorabilia business for 33 years and is well qualified to authenticate items like this. The identification and description are Ken’s, from The Tin Soldier opinion, which we believe is correct.
