Description:
  • The first photo is of this actual piano, taken when it was in a home in San Francisco, but the bench is not included. It was moved and is currently packed up and stored in a Piano Storage facility, with humidity and temperature controls, in Sacramento. It has been identified as a 1926 Mason and Hamlin, Model RA, with Mahogany case, and a factory installed Ampico ‘A’ Reproducing Player Action. Mason and Hamblin pianos are legendary for their quality and sound. The seller purchased the piano in storage, and never put it together or used it. Most of the pics are taken of the disassembled pieces. The seller tells us there are two small spots on the top – see pics, otherwise it is in very good condition. All of the keys work, and it is complete with all hardware. The player unit is in a drawer below the keyboard. Manufactured in Boston, MA. This piano has case number 36458, and serial number 36093. The top is 5’8” long. The seller was told that the player unit works, but runs slowly and at varying speeds. The player unit probably needs to be repaired or rebuilt. This piano is in storage at Jimmy’s Piano Moving in Sacramento. The piano can be delivered by them for a fee, or picked up there by the buyer. If the buyer needs help to get it loaded, they will also load the piano for a fee.
