Description:
  • Would not be a difficult project to complete. It is all here, and the running gear is restored and the body is partially painted. The engine and transmission were professionally rebuilt and are in the car. The fuel system has been cleaned out and the lines replaced. Fenders were all painted black, but two have small scrapes. The body is exceptionally clean, with no rust or dents found. This car was in the process of being restored to original by a very organized and meticulous retired CHP Officer. Every nut, bolt, chrome piece, linkage, top bow, etc. all appear to be here. Some of the bolts are organized in divided drawers, see pics. There is an extra front fender and hood, all primed and appear to be in mint condition. See many pics of the parts, which include the original hard to find side curtains. Also includes the correct 31 grille, the grille on the car is from an older Model A. This is the rumble seat model, and the rumble seat appears to all be here. We could not get the back deck to open, and didn’t want to force it. Clear title, buyer will be given a signed pink slip (retired CHP!) Includes the original 1931 license plates, see later pic. This car is in West Elk Grove, not far from I-5, and will need to be picked up there by buyer, by appointment. Buyer will be contacted after end of auction to arrange pickup. The tires are in good condition and hold air, the brakes work and the steering is all intact, so it would be easy to get on a trailer. The front fenders would need to either be removed or bolted down to transport.
