Description:

These match the settee and chair in Lot 76 to make an Eastlake Parlor Set, with an Asian influence. Both are carved mahogany and upholstered in the original burgundy velvet.  Each has wheels and a seat height of about 16". The high backed chair has a seat width of 21" and a depth of 20". The back is 37.5" high. The other chair has a seat width of 23.5", and the depth is also about 20". Both are solid and in very good condition, especially for age. The smaller chair has some fading on the top section of the upholstery, and has had a repair under the right armrest. The taller chair also has some fading on upholstery on the back side - see pics. Both chairs need some of the upholstery trim pieces tacked in a few spots. Both are very comfortable, solid and useable as is.
