A complete and authentic WW I era Lee-Enfield Rifle, with the correct bayonet. Marked SMLE 1913 III on the right side, see pics. Complete with the peep sight, and magazine. It has a rope bore cleaner inside the stock. See pics for all markings found on both the rifle and bayonet. The carrying strap is also believed to be period correct. Includes about 140 rounds of 303 ammo, along with 5 charger clips, an extra magazine and reloading dies for 303. Overall, the rifle is 44.25” long, with a 25.25” barrel. With the bayonet on the rifle, it is about 61.25” long. The bayonet itself is 21.75” long without the sheath, 22,5” with the sheath. The blade is just under 17” and does have an edge. They will oversee the required transfer, background check, and 10 day waiting period required by law. Woodland Firearms, operates from their new location at 1122 Pendegast St. in Woodland, Ca. They have this firearm and it is available for viewing during their normal business hours, which are Daily 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. except closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The DROS Process must be started within 30 days of the close of the auction, or the gun will be resold
In addition to the purchase price of the firearm, the buyer will be required to pay directly to Woodland Firearms a Background Check fee of $37.19, and a Long Gun Fee of $83.00. There will also be a 10-day waiting period starting when the background check paperwork is complete, until the buyer can take possession of the firearm. The firearm buyer must pass a safety test to obtain a Firearm Safety Certificate, or hold a valid California Hunting License. (Unless they are Active-Duty Military, Peace Officer, etc.). Woodland Firearms can administer this test, and issue the Firearm Safety Certificate for a fee of $25.00.
In most cases you need a Real ID to purchase a firearm. A Driver’s License is usually not sufficient, unless you also have a certified copy of your Birth Certificate. A current passport will also work.
