Description:
  • A very nice, original Winchester Model 1873 with Octagon Barrel in 38 WCF Caliber. Includes an embossed letter from the Buffalo Bill Museum stating that its serial number was applied for in late 1891, and it left the warehouse in early 1892. It is in very good original condition with buckhorn rear sight, blade front sight and sliding dust cover. The action is smooth and in good condition. It includes 100 rounds of black powder cartridge ammo and two wooden display stands, along with a rear long-range sight. It is also in a soft case. Overall it is 42.5” long, with a 24” barrel. Note that the Winchester letter shows a 30” barrel, but everything else matches and the records are old. Serial Number 403204P. Dows not need to be transferred by an FFL due to age.
